i'll be debuting tule in May at the Portland Quilt Market and it will begin shipping in August. i can't wait to see everything unfold and share my new collections with you in the upcoming year! art gallery feels like a perfect fit and i don't think i could have found a better group of people to work with. i love their fabrics, i love their other designers, and beyond that - they are just a great group of passionate and talented people.

i'm heading off now for a twitter live chat happening between 1-3 EST and this evening between 9-11 EST. you can follow the chat here at hashtag #TALKNT2. you can see more about my collection in the above video, as well as on their blog. thanks so much to AGF for believing in my work and vision. i'm thrilled to be joining the family!

i'm excited to announce i have several new goods out in collaboration with the land of nod! their latest collection includes an orion's sheet set, greater outdoors bedding, an evergreen rug, and storage accessories. i love seeing how they utilize my patterns and they are always a pleasure to work with! also, how cute is this quirky bear pillow they coordinated with the greater outdoors bedding? i feel like i want to be friends with him and have him on my sofa so we can have occasional coffee dates. thanks as always to the land of nod for supporting my work!

on another note, i feel like i've fully survived a northern winter - and quite heroically to boot! i'm probably more proud of this than when i learned to tie my shoelaces, although i must admit i don't recall the day that happened (mom?). hope everyone has had a wonderful start to their year so far!

kindred << a small but mighty pop up shop

kindred_postcard

hello blog! i'm very excited to be a part of kindred this holiday season. kindred is a pop-up shop that will take place at san francisco's amazing makeshift society. a dozen or so makers and designers are participating, each of which has something i need to add to my christmas list! kindred is a collaboration between lynn of satsuma press and teresa of stone & honey - both incredible talents i had the pleasure of meeting at feliz sale a few weeks ago. the show is december 15th from 11 to 7 and december 16th from 11 to 5. you can learn about all of the designers and makers on the kindred website.

in living in a brooklyn winter news, i managed to purchase sweaters this weekend and will be on the look out for some good rain/snow boots this week. if any of you northerners (ie. people made for cold weather) have any tips to send my way i'd greatly appreciate it! even my very scottish husband is having a hard time with the transition after 4 years in texas.

Feliz_Postcard_Front

Feliz_Postcard_Sept27

after 8 months in new york, i cannot wait to get back to austin for feliz next month! if you're local please join us friday, saturday, and sunday for a weekend of meeting, making, and shopping. i'll be flying in for the west elm event on friday and will have my booth set up on sunday at the palm door. saturday i will be eating tacos, doing yoga at black swan, relaxing, and catching up with friends.

you can keep up with happenings at the feliz blog in the meantime. i hope everyone is having a great transition to the fall season! so far i've loved the cooler weather and can't wait to get my hands on pumpkin flavored lattes. we'll see how well i'm still doing in december.
